Khimsar Fort, KhimsarKhimsar Is Famous For Its Majestic Fort. Located At The Edge Of The Vast Thar Desert, This Fort Is Now A Fabulous Heritage Hotel.

Khimsar is known for its charming fort and sand dunes. The battle scarred turrets and walls of the fort that stands in the midst of acres of greenery, are a fine tribute to the imperial Rajasthan. Now a fine hotel, it has a unique way of welcoming its guests through fireworks heralding the arrival of each person.

Khimsar lies close to the famous temples of Osian. Also being midway between both Jodhpur and Bikaner, it is an excellent retreat as well as point to visit these places. It is an excellent destination to experience horse and camel rides. The Heritage Hotel of Khimsar Fort has Ayurvedic massages, yoga sessions and theme dinners to distress and rejuvenate the most tired of visitors.

Once a small kingdom, Khimsar was established by a prince of the royal house of Jodhpur. Situated around 92 km away from Jodhpur, Khimsar village is also an excellent starting point for exploring the Nagaur region. The most important attraction of Khimsar is its grand fort.
