The less explored Balsamand is located in Jodhpur. It is gifted with a beautiful lake named Balsamand Lake which was artificially built. Situated in the middle of the lake is a fascinating palace - Balsamand Palace. The palace reflects a typical Rajput style of architecture. It was built in red sandstone. The rooms of the palace open into the lush green gardens. The palace was once the abode of the Maharajas of the yore.

Rajasmand
Rajasmand is a district which is around 60 km from Udaipur. It has a romantic lake called Rajasmand which attracts many tourists. An evening here can be a rejuvenating experience for you. The breathtaking view of the Sunset at this lake entices many people to head towards it in the evening. The gardens around the lake is a picnic spot. The lake also boasts of remarkable chhatris (cenotaphs)and torans .
